This past Saturday June 7th was the 20th Anniversary of the release of my favorite Stone Temple Pilots Album "Purple".  "Purple" was their second overall album and out of all the albums they've made I think it's to this date their best. The first song we heard from the album was the song "Big Empty" which was also featured in the movie "The Crow".  "Vasoline" and to this date my favorite song of their's "Interstate Love Song" are two other classic tracks on this album.  I'll admit their debut "Core" is also a great album but for some reason I've always enjoyed "Purple".  Top to bottom a great album and now with Chester Bennington singing with the band or Scott Weiland on his own,  I'm sure we'll be hearing these songs for years to come.
