The 2015-2016 Civic Theatre season keeps on keepin' on with the dramedy 4000 Miles opening Friday.

After suffering a major loss while on a cross-country bike trip, 21 year old Leo shows up at his Grandmother Vera’s West Village apartment. And that’s when the real journey begins. Arriving with a bike, no money and nowhere to go, he’s just looking for a place to stay and a little help from the feisty 91 year-old. Over the course of a single month, these unlikely roommates infuriate and bewilder each other. Ultimately they discover the fragile connection they share, and that the difference between growing up and growing old, isn’t so different.

Directed by Kalamazoo's own D. Terry Wiliams, and showing in the intimate space of the Parrish Theater, you're going to want to bring some tissues.
