5 Places In Kzoo You Need To Go To On The Next Snowy/Rainy Day

I know. We are all sick of the rain and snow. I think it's safe to say we're all in desperate need of warmth and sunshine. But we must come to the realization that Spring probably isn't going to officially start unitl May. But it doesn't have to be all bad. There are some really cool places around Kalamazoo that I think can help you shake those "winter laziess" off. Check these out the next time you find yourself with an open day during crappy weather:

1. Treasure Quest: This place is super cool. Full of super rare and sweet retro games, gaming systems, and arcade games this place almost burned a hole in my wallet. The guy who runs it told me he is in the process of turning it into a retro game store/arcade. It's truly a hidden treasure in Kalamazoo. Located at 2419 Parkview Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
2. Satallite Records: Talk about another place I could spend hours in. This record store has everything a vinyl collector could want. Not only showcasing new music but they also carry classic albums as well as provide a discount section that has a pretty good variety of albums to choose from. 3. J Bird Vintage LLC: This vintage clothing store in Kalamazoo has some of the coolest clothing and accesories around. The ladies who run this cute shop in the "Vine Neighborhood" are some the nicest to talk to and their products are generously priced. They feature all sorts of sizes and styles spanning many decades. 4. Sky Zone: This is perfect for a miserable day when you don't want to even get out of bed. How could you turn down jumping on endless amounts of trampolines and diving into foam pits? Somebody take me please... Located at 5103 Portage Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49002.
5. Fanfare: A dream spot for comic book and novelty nerds like myself, Fanfare offers a massive selection of used games/dvds, records, sports cards, and comics as well as provides space to hold nightly tournaments for Heroclix, Magic! The Gathering, D&D, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Located at 4415 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
