Usually this time of year I don't get to really go anywhere.  Luckily this year I had the chance to go up to Northern Michigan with my wife for Easter weekend.

We decided to spend a day in Traverse City Area and the Leelanau Peninsula.  I've been to the area many times, but never at this time of the year.  It was cold and, in fact, there was still plenty of ice on the water.

We went to Old Mission Point as neither of us have been there.  A drive that is worth it if you're a fan of the area.  Lots of vineyards around.

As we headed back down to Southwest Michigan, we drove up through the Leelanau Peninsula and stopped in Suttons Bay, Northport, and Leland.  It's out of season so many of the shops in the towns were closed. We still had the chance to take some great photos around the area.

We eventually headed down M-22 through Glen Arbor, Empire, Frankfort, and eventually to towns I've never been through like Arcadia and Onekama.  This is a nice part of our state and I'm glad I had the chance to see this area this time of year.
