A Radio Legend Has Signed Off

Car Talk.

If you've never heard of the show, don't worry, it's in Radio Syndication Land for all of us to enjoy.  Basic premise: two extraordinarily smart brothers ("Click" and "Clack") just shootin' the breeze about cars, engineering, and what makes vehicles tick... well... that was supposed to be the premise, anyway.  Car Talk turned in to 15% car talk, and 85% them making each other, and their listeners, laugh.  Every.  Single.  Weekend.  Regardless of topic.

I know, I know, I know... I work for The Rocker!  What I am doing listening to anything else BUT The Rocker?  Well, legends are legends, and Tom Magliozzi was certainly a radio legend.  So much so, in fact, that the 2006 Disney movie "Cars" featured Tom and his brother, Ray, in cameo voices as "Rusty Rust-eze" and "Dusty Rust-eze" (respectively), which was lost on most audiences, sad to say...

I think, in Tom's honor, I'm going to do a peel-out (as best I can in my Aveo);  my car homage to "pouring one out."
