Beginning with the 2018-2019 season  Little Caesars Arena has switched to mobile ticketing for Red Wings and Pistons home games.

The team announced back in the summer that for games at Little Caesars Arena they will no longer except paper tickets.  Tickets will now be scanned directly from your phone.

Fans are encouraged to use either the District Detroit app or the Pistons app for their tickets for games.

The Red Wings have released a guide that helps fans with their mobile ticketing.   They also have a section set up with questions fans may have on the new policy.

The new policy is underway with the Red Wings kicking their season off  at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets (October 4th).

This policy will also be used for Pistons games.   Their home opener will be on Wednesday night, October 17th against the Brooklyn Nets.

I am curious to see how this works out for the new arena.   What do you think do you like the mobile ticketing policy or do you like the old paper tickets?
