A Weeknight Treat

One of my favorite things to do outside of WRKR is cooking.  This week I had an opportunity to make some homemade ice cream.  Since I had some extra dark chocolate chips my wife and I decided to make some homemade peanut butter and dark chocolate chip ice cream.  I’ve had the chance to make various flavors from regular vanilla to pumpkin.  It’s pretty easy to make the basic ingredients is milk, sugar, cream, vanilla and whatever flavor you want to make.  For peanut butter and dark chocolate chips I used peanut butter and added the chips as the ice cream was mixing.  If you eat a lot of ice cream an ice cream maker is a good investment.
