For those of you who don't know, Flat Stanley is a children's book by Jeff Brown. It's about a little boy named Stanley Lambchop who gets flattened when the bulletin board about his headboard falls on him in the night. Stanley realizes he has the ability, in this flattened state, to put himself in an envelope and mail himself to any destination he desires. This story has jumped off the page to become a live stage musical, and even a movie. More importantly, it's become a teaching tool. Teachers are tasking their first or second grade students with making a "Flat Stanley" and mailing it to someone out of state. The recipient has to take Flat Stanley on an adventure and send mail back with pictures and souvenirs.

I got a visit from Flat Stanley on Friday, so I took him around on my adventures this weekend. Today, he gets sent back to a little boy in Rockford, Illinois named Zander. Here's what we got up to...
