Am I the only one who finds great satisfaction in cracking creme brulee with a spoon?  It's the little things, right?  Well, I have taken great pleasure these last few days tap-tap-tapping on the ice-covered snow piles, cracking it just like the golden crust on one of the most delicious deserts on the planet.  Give it a shot!  Approach an undisturbed bit of ice, raise your foot, and slightly tap it.  Oooooooh, the goodness!  Oooooooh, the gratification!  Ooooooh, the simple delight!  This is what making lemonade out of lemons is all about, as we trudge through the final days of winter.
