This Kamikaze Bangor Driver Runs a Train Crossing and Barely Misses an Amtrak

Sure stopping for a train anytime can be a pain, but is it ever worth your life? This driver on M-43 in Bangor put theirs in jeopardy playing chicken with an oncoming Amtrak train.

The footage was captured by the Around Van Buren Facebook page that notes,

Think they know or care a camera is recording? Bangor car runs train crossing red lights, bumps descending gate, yet still clears northbound Amtrak train by 10 seconds.

Making the stunt even more foolhardy, the train had only three cars and took less than 20 seconds to pass the crossing. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
