Arcadia Ales closed their Battle Creek location last year creating a hole in the brewing market and giving upstart brewers an opportunity to call Battle Creek home.

On Arcadia Ale's website, they posted,

It is with bittersweet excitement that we will be closing our longstanding brewery in Battle Creek on September 2nd, 2017.

The nearest Brew Pub is now Territorial Brewing Company on Helmer Rd which is Springfield, not Battle Creek. So now, where's a guy to go for a local brew and the amazing food brewpubs are known for, without leaving downtown?

That's where you come in. Battle Creek Unlimited is giving you the opportunity of a lifetime to get your brews and burgers in front of the Downtown Battle Creek patrons.  They are offering up $200,000 to in financial assistance to get you started. BCU even owns several buildings in the downtown area that are perfect for your next venture.

Check out downtown BC next time you think of starting a new business, there may be some great incentives available for you.
