Bed Bugs Rising In Michigan: Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Grand Rapids

I've heard a lot more about Bed Bugs over the past few years but thought it was more of a problem in larger areas.  Well according to M-live, Kalamazoo-Battle Creek along with Grand Rapids are number 20 on a list of the 50 Worst Cities for Bed Bugs.Detroit is also on this list at number 2, Chicago leads the list overall.  Our cities are actually up 13 places on the national list from last year. The list was put together by Orkin, based on data from where they performed the most treatments for Bed Bugs in 2014. .  Supposedly the country is in a midst of a Bed Bug resurgence.  So if you travel watch out for them. If you encounter them on bedding or clothing, they suggest you put the covered article in the dryer on high for 30 minutes.  Let's kill these things so we don't end up in the top 10 next year!
