Black Sabbath’s Legendary Debut Turns 45

Today Black Sabbath's debut album featuring "Black Sabbath", "N.I.B." and "The Wizard" turns 45.  Released in the U.K. on February 13, 1970.

Many consider it the birth of Heavy Metal.  I just wonder where music would be especially in the world of rock if it wasn't for this album.  It wasn't well received when it was released but now it's considered a classic.  It's been ranked on a number of best of list, including number 238 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.   A True Classic!
