Blues Fest Coming Back To Downtown Kalamazoo

These days Kalamazoo is known for a lot of things and the list keeps getting longer.  There was a time when Kalamazoo was known for the blues.  Maybe not like Chicago or Austin or the Louisiana Delta but the Blues community knew about Kalamazoo and looked forward to playing here.  In fact, during the RKR Blues Series at the State Theater, Kalamazoo was one of the hot spots for blues in the country.  So there's a long tradition right here in our neck of the woods and it continues next weekend.

After a stint at Wings Event Center, the KVBA is bringing the blues back to the Arcadia Festival Site downtown Kalamazoo for the 25th Annual Blues Fest July 12th- 14th.    As in the past, 18 of the best blues bands in the land will land on stage for 3 days & nights.  Get the line up, ticket information and other details HERE.
