Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss has declared November 21 'Bob Seger Day' in anticipation of his sold out show at Van Andel Arena.

Outside the arena, Fulton Street will be renamed Mainstreet and "The B.O.B." (a reconditioned warehouse across the street housing several restaurants and bars) will be known as "The Bob Seger" for the day as Grand Rapids honors Michigan's own Bob Seger.

A member of the Rock & Roll Hall of fame with a long and storied career, Seger has said this will be his final farewell tour. Audiences across the country are buying tickets to see him and the Silver Bullet Band belt out their Midwest brand of rock & roll one last time. The show on November 21 is the first on this leg of the tour and is sold out. Tickets are still available for a return to Grand Rapids on January 5, 2019. Start saving your money now, prices are currently $275-$495.
