According to Michigan Department of Transportation,  to accommodate bridge removal at Exit 92 Columbia Avenue, I-94 will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday, 9 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday, and 10 p.m. Sunday through 6 a.m. Monday.

During those closures, traffic will be rerouted on the exit ramps around the bridge.

After I-94 reopens to traffic at 6 a.m. Monday, July 20, the bridge will remain closed for reconstruction through early September.

The ramp from southbound Columbia Avenue to westbound I-94 will be open.

The ramp from westbound I-94 to northbound Columbia Avenue will be closed for two weeks for reconstruction. A posted detour will be on I-194/M-66 to M-96/Dickman Road to M-37/Helmer Road.

The ramp from eastbound I-94 to Columbia Avenue will be closed until the bridge reopens in early September.

The ramp to eastbound I-94 will open for a short duration and close again for two weeks for reconstruction. A detour will be posted utilizing Michigan Avenue and 40th Street.
