Cassette Store Day Is October 8th

Record Store Day has become a twice a year event held in April and November.  The day is held annually to celebrate Vinyl Records.  Did you know that there is now a Cassette Store Day similar to Record Store Day?

This year in North America,  Cassette Store Day will be on October 8th.  Apparently there is still an interest in Cassette Tapes and Cassette Store Day celebrates the tape.  The day features a list of new cassette tapes released specially for the day.

Releases from artist like The Ramones, The Pixies,Krokus and more highlight releases on that day.
