The moral of the story - take your phone with you in the bathtub.

I don't think I would be running to the local news if I was stuck in my bathtub for five days. Nonetheless, it was not me. It was Alison Gibson. The Chesaning resident was stuck in her tub from Monday, October 15th to Friday, October 19th. Alison was finally rescued after a postal worker called for her from outside of her home. The postal carrier noticed her mail was piling up and was concerned. How nice was that? The postal worker called police, and that led to Alison's rescue.

Gibson spent a few days in the hospital, but is in otherwise good health now. I know a lot of times we are all guilty of spending too much time on our phones. After hearing a story like this, I might not always be on my phone - but I will keep it within arms length.

I can't help but wonder how pruned out she was after five full days in a bathtub?
