I regularly tell my story to people about my experience with Talons Out Honor Flight.  This is an organization that flies veterans from South West Michigan to Washington D.C. to visit all of the memorials.  Originally, all the veterans were from World War 2 but those numbers are dwindling so Korean and Vietnam veterans have been included to take flight.

My story is simple but one that changed mine and my wife Karla's life forever.  We were privileged to go on a flight a couple of years ago and were amazed at how well-oiled the Talons Out machine is.  They may be the most organized and prepared group I've ever witnessed.  But more than that, they are doing such a great service to the men and women who deserve it the most.

Here's where you come in as this is not an inexpensive undertaking.  Coming up on Saturday, Talons Out Honor Flight will be holding a fundraiser at JB's Whiskey Old Style Grill 3905 Dickman Rd in Springfield which includes a Fly Over, Bike Night/Cruise In and Silent Auction.  Get all the details by clicking HERE.
