Core Life Eatery Plans Restaurants in Grandville, Portage

A restaurant chain that specializes in bone broth, green and grain bowls is opening their first Michigan locations.

Core Life Eatery began in Upstate New York in the Syracuse-Utica-Binghamton areas and has begun expanding around the country.

A restaurant on 44th Street in the Grand Rapids suburb of Grandville is opening June 9, with a preview "Pay what you Want" day on June 8 to benefit Special Olympics.

The chain's website also lists a Portage location planned to open in Fall.

In a release, the restaurant describes their offerings,

CoreLife Eatery offers a wide variety of fresh ingredients that are transformed into custom-created dishes. All foods are free of trans fats, artificial colors, sweeteners, other artificial additives and GMO’s. The chicken and steak used are sustainably raised and never given antibiotics or hormones, and the bone broth is slow simmered all day for maximum taste and nutrition.
