Curt Schilling- Father Of The Week

Fathers everywhere are applauding Curt Schilling this week for something other than baseball.  Recently his daughter was accepted to a college on scholarship for softball and he did what any proud father would do (and what I did for years with my daughter Kaitlyn who was a terrific softball player).  He bragged about her.

But it's 2015 and he didn't just brag to his friends.  He bragged on his twitter account and that brought the onslaught of some of the most despicable miscreants you can imagine.

And then something wonderful happened.  Schilling decided to go after some of these cowards and actually had some success.  Now I don't know if this will do anything to curb the cowardice but at least he's giving it a try.  As a father of daughters I agreed with what Curt said.  that father do what they can not to embarrass their daughters and everything they can to protect them.  Way to go Curt Schilling.
