For the most part, Halloween movies are labeled as horror films.  Hey, there's nothing wrong with that; we love to be scared during the Halloween season, which is why we watch horror films and visit haunted houses.  But after awhile, don't you just want to have a fun time, dress up, get drunk, and sing along with a bunch of transvestites from outer space?  If I had a dollar for every time I got drunk in college and put on Rocky Horror and passed out on my couch, I'd have like 30 extra bucks.

Even though Rocky Horror isn't a horror film, it's still a Halloween staple.  Movie theaters around the country show midnight screenings where patrons dress up, sing along, and act out the events on screen in the aisles of the theater.  If you've never witnessed Rocky Horror on the big screen, it's a real treat, and a great way to spend your Halloween.  In fact, Celebration Cinema Crossroads is showing Rocky Horror on Halloween night, and Saturday, November 1.  Whether you've seen Rocky Horror, or you're a Rocky "virgin," you need to witness the sheer spectacle that is the Rocky Horror Picture Show on the big screen.
