As teams prepare for the upcoming NFL draft in a couple weeks, today it was announced who the Detroit Lions will play in the preseason. 

According to the Detroit Lions,  their 2018 preseason schedule will include the Oakland Raiders, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns.

The only set date for the preseason so far is the game in Tampa against the Buccaneers, which is scheduled to be nationally televised on August 24th on CBS.

The Lions will travel to Oakland to play the Raiders in week one of the preseason.  They will play two games at Ford Field one against the Giants and the other to wrap up the preseason against the Browns.

Their list of opponents have been announced for 2018 and you can check out 5 must win games for the Lions if they want to contend.

The NFL draft is next up and will feature round one on April 26th.   The Lions are set to draft at number 20.  The remaining rounds will happen on the next two days in Dallas.
