Detroit Rookie Dylan Larkin is the only Detroit Red Wing selected to be a part of NHL All Star Game which is This Sunday in Nashville.   He has also been named one of the three candidates for the All Star Breakaway Challenge.

According to the NHL, five spots will be determined by the team captains.  One player will be selected by a fan vote on Twitter.  Dylan Larkin of the Red Wings, Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche and Brandon Saad of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

You can vote via Twitter for your favorite eligible player by including his hashtag –#NHLBreakawayDuchene, #NHLBreakawayLarkin or #NHLBreakawaySaad. Voting has started and will close on Thursday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. ET.

The event will have each team  provide one goalie to participate in this challenge. Each shooter will attempt two shots, and teams will alternate after each shot. Style, creativity, and flair are encouraged. NHL penalty shot rules do not apply.

Once the last skater goes, the fans will get to vote for their favorite on Twitter.

So vote for Dylan and see if he makes the event, which will be apart of the All Star Skills competition which will air Saturday Night on NBCSN.
