2019 season will see a new broadcast team for the Detroit Tigers as Rod Allen and Mario Impemba will not be brought back to the booth.

According to the story from Detroit Free Press,  the long time Tigers broadcasters will not be back broadcasting games for the Tigers after their altercation back in September.

The duo did not finish out the season.   Matt Shepherd and Kirk Gibson finished out the season broadcasting the majority of the games.  Tigers radio voice Dan Dickerson and Red Wings voice Ken Kal also helped call games as the season finished up.

The duo spent almost 17 years together calling games on TV for the Tigers.  It will be a little different to not see them next year.

No word yet on who will replace them but you would think that they will consider Matt Shepherd and Kirk Gibson for possible time in the booth next season.

Hall of Fame Pitcher Jack Morris has done games for the Tigers in the past.  Former Tigers outfielder Craig Monroe could also be a possible replacement.

We'll see next spring who will take over the booth.   Who do you think should replace Rod and Mario for the 2019 season?
