Disney Star Dean Jones Dies at 84

According to the Associated Press, Actor Dean Jones  passed away at the age of 84.

He appeared in over 46 films was also on Broadway and appeared in numerous TV series and specials.  He was known mostly for his work with Disney.

He was a memorable actor for me as a kid.  I remember the early days of the Disney Channel. You could turn on the channel and see many of his films anytime of the day. One of my favorites was his starring role in "The Love Bug".  That was the first and still the best of the Herbie movies.

He was also featured in "The Shaggy D.A.", "That Darn Cat","Snowball Express" and many other memorable films that were with Disney.

One of his early roles was with Elvis Presley in "Jailhouse Rock".

He was great in those films and I will always remember the time when I would sit with my family and watch his films.  A talented actor who passed away at the age of 84.
