Don’t Ever Prank The Police

Four guys in Venice Beach, CA recently decided it might be fun to pull a prank on some city police officers by confessing they had COKE in the trunk of their car.  As it turned out it was actually "cans" of Coca-Cola. Contrary to current assumption, the cops didn't over-react.  In fact, they were calm as they went through procedure and when they discovered what it was they seemed to think it was somewhat humorous and DIDN'T GO OFF on these guys.

Personally, I think this would've been an appropriate time to put the hammer down a bit.  I've said many times: "When a police officer asks you to do something, the best thing to do it cooperate."  I think these jamokes got off easy at the time but there may be some future charges to face.  The morale of the story is: Don't prank the police.
