My wife Karla and I were taking the dog, Gracie, for a walk the other night and it was the first time in a long time it wasn't "sticky".  We started talking about how soon the leaves will turn and the neighborhood, seemingly overwhelmed with trees, will become picturesque.

We both agreed we love Summer for all the obvious reasons but I would have to say that the absolute perfect time of the year is that window when the air is still warm but the leaves are starting to or have already changed.  It's almost like we're cheating; getting away with something and will only get to do so for a fleeting amount of time.  It's like that moment in "Field Of Dreams" when James Earl Jones' character says" "it's unbelievable" and Kevin Costner's character says: "No, it's perfect".
