Eddie Vedder has played a big role in the emergence of the Ohana Festival on the music scene, so it's fitting that he was popping up all over the place this weekend. During the opening night Friday (Sept. 8), the singer dropped in on sets from Social Distortion and Simon Townshend.

During Social Distortion's headline set Friday night (Sept. 8), Vedder turned up to join the SoCal icons on their classic track "Ball and Chain." You can see fan-shot footage of the performance in the player above.

Meanwhile, as Townshend took the Tiki Stage armed only with his acoustic guitar, later in his set he welcomed Vedder to the stage. The pair performed "She Asked Me" with Vedder initially handling lead vocal duties. You can see fan-shot footage at approximately the 25 minute mark in the clip posted below.

Vedder headlined Saturday's festivities, which found the singer playing a mixture of covers, Pearl Jam favorites and solo originals. You can watch a performance of his take on Fugazi's "I'm So Tired" on an organ in the tweet below.

Jack Johnson, Haim, The Naked and Famous and more will close things out today (Sept. 10). The Ohana festival will donate a portion of proceeds to the San Onofre Parks Foundation and the Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association.
