Fly Tries His Hometown Beer

Over the weekend, My wife and I traveled to my hometown of Charlotte, Michigan to eat at the Eaton Pub & Grill. Seeing that they had beer brewed on site I had to try some of their brews.

Charlotte Brewing Company is brewed at Eaton Pub and Grill. I have never had any of their beer so I had to order a flight. It was 4 glasses and I ordered an IPA called, "Crazy Woman Creek", "Strawberry Pail" (a fruit pale ale). "Hops Swagger" , which is a hoppy IPA. The final beer in the flight was called, "Orbecks". It is a blood orange wheat ale.

I enjoyed all of them. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the "Orbecks". My least was probably the "Hops Swagger". It wasn't bad but was my least favorite.

They had a pretty good list of beers so I will have to go back again to try more.

They had a great selection of food as well. We had their cheese bread sticks and a pizza called, "Captain Fun's". The toppings were ham, mushroom, green pepper, onion and mozzarella.

I don't get back to my hometown that much, but after my visit may have to make an effort to get there more often.
