Fly’s 40th Birthday Gift From His Wife

I turned 40 years old on Wednesday which I talked about earlier today.   One of the gifts I received was a gift basket for of snacks.  The other gift was a big surprise, as my wife gave me a new Detroit Red Wings Jersey.

The jersey is defenseman Danny DeKeyser.   I have always been a fan of defense and he is one of my favorite players currently.   This is actually the second jersey that I have.

Seven years ago I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Kris Draper road jersey.  It is white so I rarely ever wear it.   It's nice to have one jersey of a classic player and one currently.  Thanks to my wife Erika for getting me this awesome jersey.

Now to get to the Joe and see a game this season so I can wear it.
