Like most people on this planet, the first few songs that I ever heard from Queen were the big hits. The biggest ones were written by either Freddie Mercury or Brian May. One of their biggest hits in the U.S. "Another One Bites The Dust"  was written by their bassist John Deacon.

Today, which is John Deacon's birthday, I thought I would mention one of my favorite songs written by him. It turns out to be his first composition, a song called, "Misfire".

The song is featured on the album, "Sheer Heart Attack". It's a short song but there is just something about it that i have always liked. It's simple. He also plays most of the guitars on it and also does the solo.

An underrated track from the quiet member of Queen.  Check It Out.
