The Foo Fighters are obviously eager to make the most of the few live appearances they've lined up on the concert calendar this year.

As captured in the fan-shot footage embedded above, the band was more than prepared to fulfill its duties as the closing act at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, Calif. on May 29. In fact, they blew past the event's 10PM curfew during their set — and continued performing even after organizers cut their sound, finishing their show-concluding rendition of "Everlong" despite the technical difficulties.

The Foos' BottleRock appearance was, as the San Francisco Chronicle put it, "racing against time" from the beginning — with more than 20 years of hits at their back and an abbreviated period with which to cover it, frontman Dave Grohl quipped to the crowd, "We've got too many f---ing songs."

Perhaps on account of those constraints, the band didn't play its recently debuted new song "The Sky Is a Neighborhood," opting instead to deliver a set stacked with familiar Foo Fighters singles, fan favorites, and covers of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" and the Tommy Tutone hit "867-3509/Jenny."

The group, emerging from a hiatus as they work toward a new studio album, made their only U.S. concert appearance of the year at BottleRock; they'll spend the summer touring through Europe, and top off those dates with a handful of appearances in Asia before wrapping up their 2017 concert obligations with a set at Lollapalooza Berlin in October and a show in Mexico City the following month. Along the way, they'll deliver a headlining performance at this year's Glastonbury Festival, making up for the slot they lost after Grohl broke his leg on tour two years ago.
