We're still a few weeks away from release of the new Foo Fighters album on Nov. 10, but the band has been pumping up fans with trailers, teasers and songs for a few months now. The latest taste is a brand new song, 'The Feast and the Famine,' which you can hear above.

The track follows the unveiling of the Dio-ripping 'Something From Nothing' last week, as well as the premiere episode of the Foos' HBO series 'Sonic Highways.' But unlike the slow-build simmer of 'Something From Nothing,' 'The Feast and the Famine' is pretty much a standard three-and-a-half-minute guitar assault that wastes little time charging up.

The upcoming album -- also titled 'Sonic Highways' -- features the band recording in eight different studios in eight different cities with a guest list that includes music luminaries like Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen and punk legends Bad Brains, who play on 'The Feast and the Famine.'

The series chronicles Foo frontman Dave Grohl's journey across America with his band. As they hit music cities like Austin, Chicago and Nashville, artists ranging from Billy Gibbons, LL Cool J, and Willie Nelson to Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt, Slash and Paul Stanley weigh in on the significance of their locations and the effects on their music.

In other Foo news, the group is planning a day-long concert at Chicago's Wrigley Field for Aug. 29, 2015, featuring Windy City natives like Cheap Trick, Naked Raygun and Urge Overkill.
