This past October, Foo Fighters staged their inaugural Cal Jam festival in San Bernardino. Today, they've announced they'll put on another edition of the festival, booking Oct. 6, 2018 for another sure to be packed day of music taking place in Glen Helen Regional Park and Festival Grounds. Fans will also be able to camp the day before on Oct. 5.

This year featured an absolute monster of a lineup, mirrored after some of the Cal Jam concert events of the '70s. Foo Fighters themselves headlined the fest, and were joined by Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, Royal Blood, Liam GallagherThe Struts and Fireball Ministry among others to round out a huge day for rock. While no lineup has been announced thus far, their press release promises fans can expect a "Saturday 12-hour rock extravaganza."

The Foos have been touring a lot in support of their most recent album, Concrete and Gold. At their shows, they've been mixing things up a bit, including belting out a cover of Rush's legendary "Tom Sawyer," with the added bonus of bringing a fan from the crowd out to sing the vocals on occasion. Lead singer Dave Grohl has also kept busy, taking over as a one night only guest host of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' where he mashed up Metallica and 'Frozen' with Kristen Bell.

With the year coming to an end, it won't be surprising to see 2018 also be filled to the brim for the group. This year's Welcome to Rockville festival will see Foo Fighters headlining one of its three days, parallel to Ozzy Osbourne and Avenged Sevenfold's own top line appearances.
