Even after all the delays and hiccups, it seems the Freddie Mercury biopic is back in production.  Actor/director Dexter Fletcher is on board to direct, and British actor Ben Whishaw, known best to audiences as "Q" in the recent James Bond film, "Skyfall," will step in to play the late Queen frontman.  The casting choice comes after Sasha Baron Cohen left the project over the summer due to creative differences with the band, as  Queen drummer Roger Taylor expressed concerns Cohen may have turned the performance and film in to "a joke."

The film will chronicle Mercury's life from the formation of Queen up to their performance at Live Aid on July 13th, 1985.  No word on a release date, yet.
