WMU Football Send Off to MAC Championship Is Thursday at Noon in Downtown Kalamazoo

A great big send off parade and celebration for the Bronco football team is Thursday at Noon in downtown Kalamazoo.

A Bronco motorcade for the WMU Football Team heads to Detroit for the MAC Championship game is expected to pass through downtown between 12:15 and 12:30 pm.  Fans are invited to wear their colors and bring signage to the route, which is Michigan Avenue between Rose and Portage Streets.

Given the lack of advanced notice, here's hoping the turnout is bigger and that all of Michigan Ave, from Park to Portage or longer can be lined with enthusiastic Bronco supporters. Unfortunately, most, if not all, local schools, in all likelihood, won't be able to participate, but maybe parents can find the need to pull their students out for an "doctor's visit" around lunch time.
