Goodbye Red Seats, New Black Seats To Be Installed At Little Caesars Arena

Fans were just getting used to the red seats at Little Caesars Arena and now those seats are going to be replaced permanently.

According to the story from M-Live, the arena announced that they will be swapping out the red seats in the arena with black ones.

No reason has been given for the change but the red color of the current seats stand out more when empty.

The seats are set to be replaced beginning in December. The work will take place during time when no events are scheduled.

Earlier this year black seat covers were placed over some sections of the arena in a partnership with Art Van.

Black seat covers will cover the lower bowl until the work is completed.

I like how the red seats looked through out the area.  It made sense to have them for the Red Wings but with the Pistons sharing the arena I guess they needed a change.
