Shipshewana's Blue Gate Theatre welcomes Michigan rock legends Grand Funk to the stage in late January.

They could change the words to one of their biggest hits and fit right in:

We're coming to your town,

we'll help you raise the barn.

We're an American band

Grand Funk Railroad, Kalamazoo Ribfest veterans from 2017 are making the trip to Northern Indiana and playing Amish country in Shipshewana.

The band is celebrating '50 years of Funk' with original founding members drummer/singer Don Brewer  and bassist Mel Schacher, and will be playing all their iconic hits including "We're an American Band," "Some Kind of Wonderful," "Locomotion," I'm Your Captain/Closer To Home" and many more. Max Carl, formerly of 38 Special and Bruce Kulick who did time with Kiss are longtime members of Grand Funk Railroad.

These guys killed it at Kalamazoo Ribfest and we're glad to see they are still rockin' today.
