"Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road / Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go." Green Day's Tre Cool is about to hit a turning point in his life as he and his wife Sara head toward parenthood.

The happy couple, who wed in 2014, revealed the news in a new Instagram video. As seen below, the couple appear in a black-and-white video holding a series of signs. Welcoming their "big family," the couple eventually pull back signs revealing, "We have some exciting news to share with you. We are having a baby." As the last sign falls, Sara turns sideways to reveal her baby bump profile. Watch below.

Green Day have been inactive for most of the year with Billie Joe Armstrong devoting some time earlier this year to his other band, The Longshot. However, Tre Cool recently teased the possibility that something fun could be afoot.

In a recent posting on his Instagram, the drummer revealed that the band had performed their Dookie album in full during a band practice. It didn't take long for fans to connect the dots to the fact that Dookie will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019 and start pondering if an anniversary tour might be in the works. No official announcement has been made as of yet and at present, the band's tour docket is empty.
