Help Talons Out Honor Flight

I want to share with you the latest that's happening with the Talons Out Honor Flight.  The following is from an email from our good friend, former member of The Rocker Air Force and Vice President of this great organization Dan Moyle. In the last year and a half, a group of passionate volunteers and some amazing community supporters have made a huge difference in the lives of 179 veterans (most from World War II) and their families.

It is no exaggeration that the Honor Flight these veterans take can be their final trip, the “One Last Mission” and a life-changing event for families. We hear again and again – often at their funerals – that the trip opened up the veteran to talk about his or her war experiences to their families, and what a difference it made in their dad/grandpa/husband.

In less than 2 weeks Talons Out Honor Flight will honor another 70 veterans with their “One Last Mission” to Washington, D.C. On this flight we have:

• Husband & wife veterans
• Father, son & son guardian team
• Father/son veteran/guardian pairs
• Daughter/dad guardian/veteran pairs
• Many, many other stories that we’d love to share with you and your audience
