Ski, Snowboard, Tube to Help ‘Talons Out Honor Flight’

Our good friend and former Rocker personality Dan Moyle gave me the heads up on the next opportunity to help Talons Out get World War II vets to Washington, D.C. and visit the WWII Memorial.

ABOUT THE FUNDRAISER:

• What: Talons Out "Takes the Ridge"
• Where: Timber Ridge (7500 23 1/2 Street, Gobles, MI)
• When: 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, Feb. 13
• About: Help Talons Out Honor Flight by coming to the Second Annual Twilight Classic for skiing and snowboarding on the main hill — or you can flank the main campaign by tubing with your family (tubes are limited).
• Cost: Minimum donation is $25 per person. Gather pledges and sponsors to help send a WWII Veteran on “One Last Mission.”
