Art and Vine Painting Party: Henderson Castle, 5:30-7:30pm, $68.80 - Paint alongside one of our fantastic local artists while you sip wine and join Henderson Castle for an amazing experience that you won't find anywhere else. Let your inner artist out to create a masterpiece! Best part you take your artwork with you. Create a different work of ART every class. Classes are held in the 3rd Floor Ballroom. All materials are included in ticket price. This painting party includes a 6- flight tasting of Henderson Castle wine: Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Castle Red Blend, Merlot, and Meritage and a delicious Antipasto buffet.

GLAMA Acoustic Slow Jam: Kalamazoo Public Library (Central Branch), 7pm, FREE! - You're invited to join the Great Lakes Acoustic Music Association for a fun jam based on simple chord progressions and slow to medium temp tunes. All acoustic stringed instruments welcome! Basic jamming tips are included.

Millennium Park Ice Rink Opens! The Ice Rink at Millennium Park will open for its 16th season on Thursday, December 10, 2015 and will remain open through March 6, 2016, weather permitting. This large outdoor refrigerated rink features skate rental, skate sharpening, snack concessions, restrooms, warming house, lockers and an excellent skating surface!

Kalamazoo Wings Country Night: Wings Event Center, 7-9:30pm, price varies - The Kalamazoo Wings face off against the Brampton Beast and host their first of two country nights. Put on your boots, enjoy the country theme throughout the arena, and country bands playing before game and during intermissions!

Art Detectives: Kalamazoo Institute of Art, 11am, FREE! - Hear a story about art, look at art in the KIA galleries, and do an art project at Art Detectives, the Meader Fine Arts Library’s program for kids age 4 to 8. This month the program is “I Have an Idea," and they will be exploring creativity in both the Kalamazoo Institute of Art's galleries and the Kirk Newman Art School.
