Farmers Alley Theatre is thrilled to open its 8th season with one of the most popular comedies in Musical Theatre history – LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORSrunning September 18th through October 11th. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS has delighted audiences young and old for over 30 years, and we’re so excited to bring the music, fun, and, oh yes, the blood, to our intimate space every night this fall.

Based on the 1950s B-Movie, this campy musical (with songs by the famous Disney songwriting team Alan Menken & Howard Ashman) tells the familiar tale we all have “grown” to love. Meek florist Seymour Krelborn has discovered a new breed of plant life.  But this odd Venus-Flytrap looking plant doesn’t eat Miracle-Gro: it feeds on human blood!  Can Seymour stop this R&B singing, man-eating plant, get the girl of his dreams and save the world (and everyone in the theatre)? You’ll have to buy a ticket to find out. FEED ME, SEYMOUR! FEED ME!”

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will be directed by Kathy Mulay, who has directed some our most successful musicals (Cabaret, The Secret Garden, Dogfight).  Marie McColley Kerstetter serves as our Music Director.  NYC and Los Angeles professionals Harrison Bryan and Melody Ricketts will be portraying the iconic leads Seymour and Audrey.  The rest of the cast is filled with amazing local talents Lou Price, Stephen Anthony Grey, Christy Lee Coleman, Jasmine Franklin, Tia L. Pinson, Brian Panse with a special appearance by our Artistic Director, Jeremy Koch as the sadistic dentist, Orin Scrivello.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS runs September 18th through October 11th.  Tickets are $35 on Fri/Sat/Sun and $30 on Thursdays.  Seniors 65 and above receive $2 off per ticket.  Reservations can be made by calling our Box Office at (269) 343-2727 or visiting www.farmersalleytheatre.com.
