Intercontinental Championship Changes Hands On WWE Raw

It is rare to see a WWE Championship change hands on television.  This happened last night on WWE Raw when the Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose was forced to defend the title in a fatal 5 way match.

According to WWE, the match was put together by the Authority.  Dean Ambrose defended his title against Dolph Ziggler, Tyler Breeze, Stardust and Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens picked up the win to become the new champion.   This should set up some interesting scenarios for not only the upcoming Fast Lane main event, but also Wrestlemania.

It may also impact  WWE Live, when the Superstars make their way  to Wings Event Center on Sunday, March 6th.   See Superstars such as Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show and more.  The list is subject to change.
