Is There A Christmas Tree Shortage In Michigan?

There have been several reports that there is a Christmas Tree shortage in Michigan this year that, among other things, will drive prices up.  Geez, the price for a real tree is already outrageously high.  The question I have is: How high do prices have to go for a family like the McKellys to break tradition and buy a fake tree?

We've always been a real tree family and will always be a real tree family.  That having been said, there are many theories explaining the reson for the shortage but could the fact that more people who've been going with the fake trees be coming back to the real thing in recent years?  I'm curious, what's your preference?  Real or fake?  Get the details on the shortage by clicking HERE.
