Is This The Year The Tigers Win It All?

Over the past few years that is the question that Detroit Tigers fans wonder. Today is Opening Day and again we are wondering, is this the year?

For once the Tigers are not the overall favorite for the division.  Some experts are picking the White Sox, some the Indians. Not being favored should help the Tigers this year.

I know the pitching and especially the bullpen is still a question mark, but like last year, they should be able to weather that storm.

The lineup should be a lot better. With the addition of Yoenis Cespedes and Anthony Gose, and the return of Jose Iglesias the defense should be an upgrade. I'm excited to see what this offense can do.  If Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez get their swings back, look out.

The Tigers should be there once again at the end, but will they be?  What do you think?
