It’s Time to Get Jolly: Santacon 2015

You've heard of horror, comics, and sci-fi conventions... but did you know that Saturday is SantaCon 2015?

Yeah, I didn't, either.

SantaCon is a non-denominational, non-commercial, non-political and non-sensical Santa Claus convention that occurs once a year for absolutely no reason. You can dress up as Santa, Ms. Claus or anything holday related (Hanukkah Harry, a Dreidal, Presents, snowman, Kwanzabot).

According to their website, SantaCon founder, Brett Jones and his two friends started the event in 1994 "because he was bored."

I don't know why, but I just love that.
