It's that time of year, again; the snow is falling, the birds have flown, and I've gotten myself mixed up with another group of wonderfully crazy-fun people at The Civic theater.  After two auditions, I have been cast as Diana in the Civic's production of Lend Me a Tenor, set to open on January 9th.  Once again, it's a comedy, and it's not-to-be-missed.

Lovingly lifted from the Civic's website - a summary:

It's 1934 and the Cleveland Grand Opera Company is preparing to welcome world-famous tenor Tito Morelli for a sold-out, one night only performance of Otello. But when the star arrives desperately late with his ego and his jealous wife in tow, things don't go exactly according to plan. A double dose of tranquilizers, an over-sexed soprano, and a mistaken suicide note add up to complete chaos! What transpires is a furiously paced comedy with more than a touch of the Marx brothers; complete with slamming doors and laugh-out-loud humor.
