You might remember the horrible tragedy of 20 year old Jeremy Smith who was killed last year while riding his bike on Portage road near Centre street.  Riding bikes was one of his passions and another was cars; specifically Classic Cars and Rat Rods.  Shortly after Jeremy's death his father Shawn put together a car show in his honor a Seelye Kia in Battle Creek.  And even though it was, as Shawn puts it, thrown together over 70 cars & trucks entered and proved to be a first year success.

Well, this year with ample planning time we're sure to have quite the turn out of cars & trucks and with your help a huge turn out of people.  This Saturday join us as an entrant or a spectator for the 2nd Annual Jeremy D. Smith Memorial Car Show at Seelye Kia in Battle Creek at 791 W. Dickman Rd. from 9am- 2pm.  I'll be broadcasting live from 11am- 1pm and there will be fun for the whole family with food, drinks and prizes including bikes to be given away in Jeremy's memory.  For more information call Shawn Smith at 269-924-8724.
